Expandable Linear Converter
Details
Expandable Linear Converter (ELC) is under GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE. ELC was
written by Simone Pernice from scratch.
Version 0.9.6, 8Th October 2006 Turin, Italy. Build 6.
ELC needs a MIDP 2.0 phone, it requires only CLDC 1.0 although it
makes floating point calculation (see greetings below).
If you like ELC and you want to help its development send a
donation/postcard to: Simone.
Send a mail also to ask questions, suggest improvements, add new
measure or changes, add new conversion units, fix bugs.
ELC is based on the library net.dclausen.microfloat written by
David Clausen for floating point computation and on SiMoney graphic
library classes written by Simone Pernice. ELC pre-installed
conversion units come from www.themeter.net and "Tabelle di
conversione unita' di misura" by Andrea Cavalleri.
Greetings to: Stefania Giaconia user interface improvement
suggestions.
Help
ELC (Expandable Linear Converter) is given AS IT IS, WITHOUT ANY
warranty. It starts showing the list of basic conversion fields, it
is possible to add other fields and conversion units. Select on a
conversion field to see all its measure units. It is possible to
RENAME, ADD or DEL(ete) conversion fields. The conversion field is
defined by a proportion and displacement respect to another defined
unit. Use CONVERT button on a convert field to open the conversion
screen. EXIT to exit the program. BACKUP and RESTORE let back up or
restore the entire database to a PC through USB cable (tested only
on Motorola phones).
If you like this program send a postcard or a donation to Simone.
